Neon Swordtail

A perfect starter fish for any aquarium! Neon Swordtails (Xiphophorus hellerii) are peaceful community fish that thrive in established tanks and reproduce readily. As livebearers, females release live fry rather than laying eggs. Keep more females than males to reduce breeding stress—dominant males develop their signature sword and gonopodium around 1-1.5", while subordinate males may retain female appearance until 4" or larger.
