Scarlet Red Endler
Scarlet Red Endlers are stunning, line-bred livebearers renowned for their brilliant crimson coloration. These small, peaceful fish grow to just 1.5 inches, making them ideal for community aquariums and nano setups. Originally discovered in Venezuela in 1975, Endlers are closely related to guppies and share similar care needs. They thrive in moderate hardness water with a pH between 7.0–8.5 and temperatures of 72–82°F. Captive-bred and hardy, they're excellent for both beginners and experienced aquarists. For best results, maintain a 2:1 female-to-male ratio to prevent male aggression, or keep single-sex groups. They're compatible with schooling fish, other livebearers, rainbowfish, dwarf cichlids, and invertebrates. Feed high-quality small flakes, pellets, and occasional frozen or live foods to maintain their vibrant red coloring.
