Turkana Jewel Cichlid
CAPTIVE BRED
The Turkana Jewel Cichlid features a vivid pink coloration with striking jet-black fins and a dorsal fin that exhibits blue iridescence. As a dwarf cichlid, it typically does not exceed 3.5 inches in length. This species is well-suited for tanks of 20 gallons or larger and can coexist with medium-sized African tetras like Congo Tetras or catfish such as Synodontis species. Providing a sandy substrate is essential, allowing the fish to dig and form burrows necessary for successful spawning.
